Frontline Command: WWII

Posted on September 14, 2015  in Not easily categorized

Hey guys, today I will be talking about perhaps one of my favorite WWII shoot-up type games.

So as stated in the title Frontline Command takes place during WWII. You are a soldier working for the Allied Forces and battle many Axis Soldiers in a variety  of places, from Africa to Italy to Germany. You can equip and upgrade many of your weapons from Tank to Snipers to Flamethrowers.

Pros: Many ways to upgrade your weapons and your character which have various effects. You also can use multiple weapons so you are not bound to one type of weapon.

Cons: You are automatically chosen to be a Allied Soldier that leads the Allies to victory and there is no fantasy choice where you lead the Axis to victory (like they have in World Conquer). Also there are no medics in the game.

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Sega

Posted on September 3, 2015  in Apple

Hey guys today I’ll be reviewing perhaps one of my oldest and my favorite games Legos Star Wars: The complete Sega. This version will be the one on IOS. The game is based off the famous game for console and DS. The game contains many scenes from all the movies (1-6), from The Death of Qui-gon Ginn to the Birth of Luke Skywalker to The Destruction of the second Death Star. If you want to take a break from the episodes for a little while you can come pledge bonus levels and relax in the hub, The Cantina of Mos Eisley (My apologies if I spelt that wrong)

Pros: You can create your own characters and replay missions with your own characters after completing the game. You can also get “Red Brick” almost like game changers. Also you can create multiple profiles for you and your friends.

Cons: For some reason, in the IOS version any Custom Characters cannot have they’re own names. Also custom characters cannot be used in the Hub. Also in order,to get the full version of the IOS game with all the characters and Levels you need to pay $6.99
